Grief over the loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult things we can experience as humans.

For some, the grief develops into complicated grief that can last for years. This can have far-reaching consequences for the life of the person afflicted by it. Grief means that part of our dreams, hopes and expectations about the future fall to pieces. At some point after experiencing a loss, the brain begins a review to find what was never said or accomplished. It is normal and natural to have a review of the relationship and discover a number of things we wish were better or different. Something we would like to have said or done, or something we wish the other person had said or done. Whether you are aware of it or not, this review starts shortly after a loss. The fact is that the review continues from time to time until the communication is completed. Something that we can sometimes perceive as lingering or pondering. Communication is the key. Unresolved grief is almost always about an emotional message that we have not been able to communicate. Communication is the key. In order to release the grief over a loss, we therefore need to address all unspoken thoughts and feelings about the relationship. Letting go and moving on is common advice when losing. Wouldn't we do it if we only knew how? Live life to the fullest. Grief processing helps you process and release the pain and grief of your losses. You get help to identify what is incomplete so that you can complete this. This happens without you being criticized, analyzed or given advice. Experience shows that you then come to terms with yourself and what you have been involved in. The lingering and the pain disappear.
